The textbook includes two playbooks, two teachers' commentaries and audios. 1 2 3 PIANO captivates for 1 2 3 (and even more) reasons: The music booklets introduce the world of piano playing with characteristic pieces and a wide stylistic breadth. Whether major, minor, church modes, whole-tone scale, blues scale – with 1 2 3 PIANO, "playing the piano is a tonal experience from the very beginning" (Practice & Making Music). The pieces consist of easy-to-grasp musical structures and lie well in the fingers. Already in the first pieces they play with two hands and with melody and accompaniment. The songs are set in a child-friendly singing position. Numerous variation and improvisation tasks awaken the creative potential of the players. The teachers' comments explain the didactic thread of the game booklets, introduce the methodology of partner and group lessons and give detailed suggestions for possible development paths - also in individual lessons. The audios bring all 79 pieces from booklet 1 and 2 to life: diverse character pieces, exciting sound stories, well-known children's and folk songs, swinging dances, sonorous improvisations and groovy boogies.
