- Heaven (as performed by Gotthard) by ›Gotthard‹: ›Gotthard‹ es una de las bandas de rock suizas de mayor éxito, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. En octubre de 2010, el carismático cantante Steve Lee falleció en un accidente de tráfico en Estados Unidos. Con la adaptación para orquesta de viento del inquietante himno rock Heaven, Simon Fahnholz creó un digno monumento a la poderosa música de ›Gotthard‹. – (Grado 2.5)
- Långstrump Samba de Jan Johansson: Pippi Calzaslargas, la niña fuerte y testaruda de las coletas rojas, ha cautivado los corazones de niños y jóvenes de corazón de todo el mundo en libros, películas y series de televisión. Inseparablemente ligada a la serie de televisión está la alegre melodía principal, a la que John Blanken ha dado un animado sabor de samba. Incluso con este nuevo ritmo, la canción original sigue siendo claramente reconocible. La percusión desempeña un papel importante, especialmente en el solo de percusión ad libitum, cuya duración y elección de instrumentos son de libre elección. Exuberante y animado. – (Grado 3)
- Supernova de Thierry Deleruyelle: »Supernova« es una enérgica pieza de estilo pop que contagia alegría y buen humor y que tiene un carácter especialmente vivo y festivo debido a su ritmo. Los temas de la composición original de Thierry Deleruyelle son la renovación, el renacimiento y la solidaridad tras la pandemia de COVID-19. La Confédération Musicale de France encargó la obra en el marco de la iniciativa ›Concerts solidaires au profit de l'enfance en France et dans le monde‹ [›Conciertos en favor de la infancia en Francia y en el mundo‹]. – (Grado 3,5)
- The King's Swing - Swing it William! de John Blanken: Esta animada obra de John Blanken contiene una versión jazzizada del himno nacional holandés. ¡Estos y otros elementos, como una contra voz y un acompañamiento rítmico armónico, juntos forman un torbellino musical que arrasará a músicos y oyentes! – (Grado 4)
- Sparks of Fire (as performed by ›Christiano and his Magical Orchestra‹) by Jo Hermans & Wietse Meys: Si está buscando una pieza musical de apertura animada y enérgica que sea rítmica y tenga una parte de bajo y batería palpitante, esta es la pieza para usted. Sparks of Fire se basa en una pieza para banda pop y cuerdas del grupo belga de música popular ›Christiano and his Magical Orchestra‹. Cuando escuches esta enérgica pieza, ¡casi nadie podrá estarse quieto! Este arreglo de Richard Johnsen es ideal como pieza de apertura o cierre de un concierto. – (Grado 4)
- Symphonic Soul de Henry Mancini: En este arreglo de Klaas van der Woude, cada registro tiene la oportunidad de presentarse. Esta composición del gran maestro Henry Mancini también es interesante por su estructura. La obra comienza con una introducción seguida del primer tema. La segunda parte es en realidad un canon, al que sigue una repetición de la primera parte. La obra termina con una coda en la que se utiliza material temático del principio de la pieza. Resumiendo brevemente: La obra contiene elementos sinfónicos que se combinan eficazmente con la música pop. Existen arreglos para banda de concierto, banda de música y orquesta de fanfarria. – (Grado 4)
- Discoducción de Jacob de Haan: Jacob de Haan compuso esta pieza especialmente para la ya conocida ›C. D. Soli Brass‹. Esta pieza no es sólo un abreboca para C.D., sino también un excelente abreboca para conciertos. El título es una combinación de las palabras ›Introducción‹ y ›Disco‹. La composición consta de una majestuosa apertura, seguida de una sección de estilo disco basada en los mismos temas. – (Grado 5)
