- La Fiesta de Chick Corea: He aquí una chispeante versión afrocubana arreglada por Michael Philip Mossman del clásico de Chick Corea. Sin duda, una impresionante adición al programa de cualquier banda experimentada. Perfecto para su pianista, pero la sección solista flexible también permite incluir a otros músicos.
- Aunt Hagar's Blues de William Christopher Handy: Del maestro de los arreglos Michael Abene nos llega un blues de cocción lenta con piano y una partitura de conjunto maravillosamente inusual. Esta es la versión auténtica grabada originalmente por la GRP All-Star Band en su CD ALL BLUES, ganador de un Grammy, y adaptada a la instrumentación estándar de los conjuntos de jazz. - You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To de Cole Porter: Este swing subido de tono salido de la pluma del arreglista de Michael Abene comienza con todo el conjunto en una línea casi improvisada basada en los cambios de este conocido estándar de Cole Porter. Le siguen solos de trompeta y flauta (tenor opcional) con fondos de conjunto bien estructurados.
