In 2010 he received the Grawemeyer Award, one of the most prestigious international composition awards. A collection of texts and documents, the present volume is published to mark his 75th birthday. Containing essays and interviews of the authors Martin Zenck, Rainer Nonnenmann, Juliane Bally, and the editors, it takes a look at his oeuvre of recent years. The volume is completed with work commentaries by the composer, greetings of international artists and photos.
