For practicing Beethoven's 'Augengläserduo' (BP 430), this is a technically easy piece.

In Gariboldi's works, it is striking how simple his solos are in melodic and harmonic terms. This may contribute to the fact that his studies are still readily used in lessons today.

Deliberately conceived as studies, the melodic invention of these trifling piano miniatures is abundant, and they are excellently suited both for teaching and for performance.

Kirchner's late pieces, outlined as 'warm and intimate, full of musical beauties', do not make great technical demands on dexterous players.
