Amadeus

First published in 1878, Op.31, a sequence of 9 movements, are well-formed melodic reminiscences of the Moravian homeland, whose caprices of sound leave nothing to be desired.

As a true chamber music version of the catchy and popular suite for string orchestra created by the composer himself in the last years of his life with the merit of tonal variability.

The Oettingen-Wallerstein court composer, whom Mozart respectfully dubbed the 'Papa of piano players', succeeded in creating one of the most endearing rococo pieces with this quintet.

Composed in 1972, the quintet is aimed at all house musicians who enjoy playing in mixed ensembles, thanks to its modest technical demands, especially the very light violin part.

From the illustrious Neapolitan collection of 24 'Concerti di Flauti, Violino, Violetta e Basso Di Diversi Autori' of 1725. A work that works both solo and with choral string instrumentation.

Songs 'Das große Licht' by Simon Dach and 'Trost der Nacht' by Grimmelshausen set to music in the late Romantic style of 1941. Of particular charm: the darkly colored clarinet part.

In the 1933 nonet (Praeludium, Aria and Fugue), in which late Romantic echoes are clearly audible, the strings can also be chorally scored.
