Descripción de la:
Score and parts - bass flute and six recorded flutes (piccolo, flute and bass flute are needed to create the six-track auxiliary tape)
The idea of a composite instrument can be traced back to the works for recorded and live soloists from about 1988. Afatsim, the crossover and the string quartet become disparate instruments into a single instrument. In contrast, Ina and other pieces from this period dissolve a single instrument into disparate voices. This suggested at the time an exploration of the drama of a single person (and therefore a single performer) confronting him with the many divergent voices. Ina unmistakably has a certain narrative and dramatic conception in her playing between the soloist and his or her interior environment. The piece is dedicated to John Sebastian Winston. - Chaya Chernovin
